CDM Course Poster & Brochure Re-Design

This was the first branding project I was given and solidified my love for branding and working within a brand guideline. I was tasked with designing a Creative Digital Media brochure and an accompanying poster for Tu Dublin college. If this was printed the brochure would be able to be folded into a particular way and when opened the poster would be on the back. This project let me discover the importance of layout on a page and researching a particular brand and its values. Looking at the importance of your audience and what kind of other brands they currently enjoy.

I went with a CMYK colour scheme as it reflected the creative and print aspects of the course. I used the college motto of 'Infinite Possibilities' for the poster but used both the English and Irish versions on the final poster. This poster could be rotated and on one side the English could be read but if flipped upside down the Irish could be read. I feel the final design showed a creative approach to the project. Although I would change some aspects now with my new knowledge of graphic ideas, it is still something I'm proud of 2 years on.
